I found this excellent piece on Matt and Jon‘s beginnings and studio techniques in an old copy of Melody Maker this week. Jon wheels out a classic line, calling SAW ‘Slop, Fake It and Water Down‘, and for Matt, several things are just ‘a bastard’.
