I bet the makers of this all face-palmed when they saw The Raid: Redemption!
I’m trying not to get too hyped about the prospect an R-rated Dredd movie at long last, but it’s not easy…

Can’t wait! The inclusion of so many nods to Dredd fans in just this short trailer (including Sternhammer, Ezquerra and Dillon blocks, and a hottie house) gives a clear indication that this has been approached with the very best intentions. Will be interesting to see the native 3D combined with the Slo-Mo scenes; promises to be something of a visual treat. Too early to tell how it’ll all hang together, but it certainly has a lot going for it and the positives outweigh the negatives, that’s for sure. And we’ve got the Judge Minty film appearing at some point, which should be another huge treat.
