I’ve just started helping a friend sort out a basement full to the brim with 20 years worth of accumulated records, books, magazines and assorted ephemera. The task is huge and it will take us months as we can only commit to one day a week at the most. Before we can even dig properly we need to organise it into some sort of order and along the way we’re finding all sorts of things.
