This design came about when Simon told me that the name for the mix was ‘It Came From The Sea’. My old photographer friend Nancy Brown had some excellent images of lamps and water in bottles she had taken years previously that I knew would be perfect. She had been keen to collaborate again for a while but there was little for her to do as the images were already there and mostly suggested an aqua theme so were ideal. I also wanted to free up the Solid Steel ‘look’ as well as i was finding it a bit constraining so I made the Technics dots bend and swirl as well as the list of contents on the cover to give the impression of a more fluid design.
